Compounded tirzepatide, with a real physician behind it.

If you've tried the diets, the apps and the "just try harder" advice, you're not the problem. Vita connects you with a U.S.-licensed physician who looks at your whole health picture and decides whether a once-weekly medication like tirzepatide makes sense for you.

Compounded tirzepatide from $229/mo · $20 physician visit · Billed monthly, not due upfront

Our featured program

Why so many people ask about compounded tirzepatide.

Tirzepatide is a once-weekly injection that acts on two hormone pathways involved in appetite and blood sugar: GIP and GLP-1. Many other weight management medications act on just one.

Your physician typically starts you on a low dose and adjusts it over time based on how you're feeling. You're never guessing on your own.

  • Physician evaluation, follow-ups and dose adjustments
  • Secure messaging with your care team
  • Medication, supplies and shipping included
  • Prepared by a state-licensed U.S. pharmacy

Possible side effects include nausea, vomiting, diarrhea and constipation, plus less common but serious risks. See side effects and who shouldn't take it.

Start slower. Or step down.

Some people want to ease in with a lower dose. Others have reached their goals and want to stay on a lower dose instead of stopping. Vita Steady gives you a lower-dose semaglutide or tirzepatide plan, with the same physician care, if your physician agrees it's right for you.

  • Lower-dose compounded semaglutide or tirzepatide, if prescribed
  • Your physician sets your dose and adjusts it over time
  • Already a Vita member? Ask your care team about stepping down
  • Same all-in price: physician, follow-ups, medication and shipping

About compounded medications: All medications prescribed through Vita are compounded for you by a state-licensed U.S. pharmacy. Your physician will explain whether a medication or dose is being used off-label.

Our promise

What we won't do.

  • Promise you a number on the scale. Everyone's body is different.
  • Ship anything without a physician's approval.
  • Hide fees. The price you see is the price you pay.
  • Make you feel judged. You're here, and that counts.

Good to know

What about side effects?

The most common ones are stomach-related, like nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, constipation and reflux, especially when starting or changing doses. Less common but serious risks include pancreatitis, gallbladder problems and vision changes. Stop the medication and get medical care right away if you have severe or persistent stomach pain, yellowing skin or eyes, sudden vision changes, chest pain or trouble breathing. Your care team is available by message for anything else. Read the full Important Safety Information.

Does tirzepatide affect birth control?

It can. Tirzepatide may make birth control pills (oral hormonal contraceptives) less effective. If you take the pill, your physician may recommend switching to a non-oral method, or adding a barrier method such as condoms, for 4 weeks after you start and for 4 weeks after each dose change. If you're planning a pregnancy, tell your physician: GLP-1 medications are not for use during pregnancy. Learn more.

Who shouldn't take a GLP-1 medication?

GLP-1 medications like tirzepatide and semaglutide aren't right for everyone. They shouldn't be used if you have or have had an eating disorder, chronic or prior pancreatitis, a personal or family history of medullary thyroid carcinoma (MTC) or MEN 2, or if you're pregnant, planning a pregnancy or breastfeeding. Severe gastrointestinal disease (like gastroparesis) or active gallbladder disease need a provider's clearance. Your provider will review your full health history before recommending anything. See the full list of risks in our Important Safety Information and Telehealth Informed Consent.

Is compounded tirzepatide the same as brand-name medication?

No. Compounded tirzepatide is prepared by a state-licensed pharmacy for individual patients when prescribed. Compounded medications are not reviewed or approved by the FDA for safety, effectiveness or quality. Your physician will talk with you about your options.

I have PCOS or endometriosis. Can I still apply?

Yes. Share your full health history in your assessment, including any conditions and medications. Your physician will review everything and decide what's appropriate for you. Vita's programs are for weight management; they aren't a treatment for PCOS or endometriosis, so keep working with your own doctor on those.

What if I don't qualify?

You won't be charged for medication. Your physician will explain why and may suggest other options, including talking with your own doctor.
